What could I make with this?
« on: April 16, 2011, 01:50:02 pm »
I recently done a bee tree cutout.  During the process, the old entrance on the tree broke loose into a perfect little piece.

I know it kinda looks like a horses patoot. :D

I thought about maybe straightening the edges a bit and putting in a shadow box or something stating this was my first cutout.  I'm not for sure what to do with it.

Any creative minds have any suggestions out there?

Thanks,
James

I think it would be really cool if you could someway fashion it to be an observation hive.  Put glass over the hole and build the hive on the back part.  Then you could display it in your home with bees in it.

But I am not a woodworker so I have no idea if it could be done :).
