Title: Hello Everyone

Hi there,

I'm the new kid on the block.  I personally don't keep any bee's yet.
Hope to learn enough to start with a hive or two.
Back in NY, a friend had approx. 150 hives, I got some experience by assisting him especially in April and May, pollunating fruit orchards.

Glad to be here, and look forward to learning.  shu9265.

I dont' have any bees yet either, but I highly recommend "Beekeeping for Dummies" as a book. It has clear explanations on how to assemble and inspect complete with pictures.  Also, read beemaster's Online Beekeping Course. There is good info in that!

Welcom Shu,

I agree with Amy's post on Dummies. There are also many other books recommended by the members of the forum in a thread titled, oddly enough,  Recommended Books  in the general forum. Good luck and I hope you like it here! :D
