Sorry to here that. I hope you are feeling better.
Take the frames out and if they are plasticell use your hive tool and scrape out the comb, then use your garden hose to wash them off. If they are really messed up, remove the plasticell from the frames and install new ones. You can use a pressure washer to clean the plasticell.
If they are the all wax, just use a knife to cut the comb out and use a hose to wash off the frames.
Take the hose and clean out the inside of the boxes and the bottom board.
If you have SHB larvae in the frames, take a large trash can and fill it with soapy water. Dunk the frames under water and add weight to keep them under water. This is to drown the larvae and may take some time.
Hope this helps.

That?s a tough break all the way around salty. I hope you are feeling better soon. I lost a hive last year to SHB myself. Glad to have you posting again. Hang tough.

Always made me feel better to drop those frames in a fire ant bed.

Salty,
Thanks for correcting the subject line.
I?m really glad you were able to get the help you needed. You are not alone. A good close friend of mine, my father and my son were all saved because they got help in the same type of place. We will keep you in our prayers.

Heavenly Father, thank you for your love for salty.  I pray that you will shine your light upon him and his path in life so that everything will be clear as day.  Amen.
41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.

43 And he took it, and did eat before them.

Brother, What a beautiful text.  Indeed, Salty, take care.  Don?t give up on the bees.  Do you suspect neighbor of hive issues?  I hope not but the fact has happened.
Blessings

Van
I have been around bees a long time, since birth.  I am a hobbyist so my answers often reflect this fact.  I concentrate on genetics, raise my own queens by wet graft, nicot, with natural or II breeding.  I do not sell queens, I will give queens  for free but no shipping.
