Post by: 1968 Fastback GT on March 11, 2006, 08:05:23 pm
Looking for Bee Suit for my wife.  She 5 ft 0 in tall.  Went to Bushy Mnt. the closest Bee store for me.  The small is to large (long in leg and arms) the child is to small.
Thank

Call the people at www.beeworks.com and ask them.  They will custom make them any size you want.  Just give them the measurments.  They are great quality too and very nice people.

Gary,

I'm 5'1".  I've only been beekeeping for a couple of years (this will be my 3rd summer) and didn't want to spend alot of money in the beginning.  I spent about $5 at Home Depot on a disposable tyvex type painters overalls.  They're still going strong.  I use velcro straps at the ankles, but they could easily be tucked into socks (of course, you can easily just cut the bottom off if it's too long), and I wear elbow length gloves, so there's no problem at the wrist.
