Hexagon observation hive
« on: September 10, 2020, 12:37:28 pm »
Hey
I grew up watching bees in an observation hive at my local  farm i loved the smell and watching the bees and have always  wanted a hive.
Finally i have got my first place which needs completely rewiring and replumbing  but i had hoped to buy a beecosy system for my house.
sadly i had an email today saying they had gone out of business.
I wondered if anyone had attempted to make one or had any plans for one
Would be great to chat to anyone that had
I'm almost tempted to try myself but my carpentry skills are not that great
Thank you

Welcome to Beemaster.

I looked at their site. They do sell a DIY book with the top bars included. It looks like it has the designs included. It does cost $100. and it is an email copy only. If you have a table saw, it probably would not bee hard to make.
