This lil forager just posed for me.  Almost if she realized her picture was being taken.

The honey bee was hovering in front of me so I held out my finger.  Then she lands and starts posing.  Just amazing lil critters.

This one has got to bee my personal favourite picture I have ever taken. 
Location is   Paradise Cove, Oahu Hawaii.  Took the family to an evening Luau there.  I went for a walk before dinner for some personal head space.  Out of nowhere This native beauty landed on my shoulder as I walked the beach.  She stayed with me awhile and we shared most of the sunset together.  It was one of those life changing moments of truth.

Honey reminds me of a joke my great aunt told

This lady had penguins in her car when she got pulled over by the police.
He asked where she was headed and why she had penguins-
Oh, nowhere in particular. Just out for a drive, she says.
 
He admonished her as these were wild animals that she needed to take them straight to the zoo.
 
The next day he sees them again and pulls her over.  She?s got the penguins in the car with umbrellas and beach balls -
He says - I thought I told you to take these wild animals to the zoo!!??

She says , Oh , I did. We had so much fun. Today we are going to the beach!!

Yesterday I had one of the little ladies pose for a picture on the top of my right ear. I could have pulled my phone for a selfie, but when she inserted her stinger all bets were off!!
