I've tried a lot of ways to shell black walnuts and none of them work that good.
Hammer, vise, nut sheller, not good results.
Any ideas how to shell these?
(I get the outer green hull off by folding the nuts in a tarp and driving over them with a car)

Or.....buy shelled nuts? or is that only for non- masochists :wink:
