For You Americans; Happy Independence Day!
Jeremiah 5:21 King James Version
Hear now this, O foolish people, and without understanding; which have eyes, and see not; which have ears, and hear not:
2 Chronicles 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

It was interesting to me when I was in Afghanistan, that both we and the Afghanis celebrated our independence from England.  There were British people there and they didn't seem to mind...

Considering how much of the world they held at one time...India does theirs in August I think.
