Mountain men
« on: July 07, 2012, 03:46:53 pm »
Anyone watch this?  The only one that provides any info to me is the old hippy in the south. Every once in a while they show a glimpse of something useful.
I was born about 100 years too early, or to late.

I watch it.   Gives me something to dream about.   Wife hates it (as with most of the shows I like).

Seems kind of corny to me. The one guy who lets people come work for him to learn survival skills cracked me up when he blamed the helper for not sighting his gun in properly. Who has someone else sight in thier gun for them?

They needed something for the TV show.   Splitting firewood got boring maybe.   Needed a little drama.   Boring drama, but drama.

Agreed, no one sights in my gun for me.  He had limited ammo as well!

I would agree about sighting in your own gun. The guy was kinda hard on the kid who was portrayed as a punk.

They ended the season with his land being on the verge of a tax sale. I actually like watching the guy in Alaska... the rest is just too much made up drama for me.
