Title: Out door picture taking.
Post by: Anonymous on February 19, 2005, 12:23:07 pm
I enjoy the picture taking of many of the things I see out doors.

A lot of cool critters abound to truly amaze us.

Al,

the last picture above.  Do you know which type of walking twig that is?  I used to have some walking twigs in a terrarium myself (guess it was indian or viatnamese) :-)  Cool insects!  Didn't require much work, and the way they walk is funny.  The terrarium was very small, but I often had to look for them to find them anyway :-) Superb camouflage!

No I am not sure which the walking stick is. It was a wild one on our screen porch screen. They are very rare here, seems there is some thing that is killing all them as the mites did most of the wild bees a few years back.
:( So much use of pestisides with out reguards as to what all is being killed too.
