Hi!

I just made my own alcohole stove.  It was made of two coke cans and it works great.  It looks something like this (from the page linked below):



You can't find any lighter stove than this.  The plans for the stove I made can be found here.  If you get interested in this, you would probably love Sgt. Rock's page aswell. He has made several different alcohol stoves.  These stoves are great for small trips when the weight is important.  For all the other trips I use my Primus Himalaya Multifuel stove :-)

I can't wait to see this.
I have a smal backpacking stove that I have had for at least 20 years, works terrific. Looks like a primus but in a aluminum box
I'll have to find a pic.

Hmm..  They had used techniques to avoid external image linking, and my cache fooled me to believe it worked.  Copied the image to my own server,so it should work now.  But I recomend reading this page with more info.
