Has anyone heard about using peppermint candy in the hive to control SHBs?  Any opinions on the subject?

I have not cao. Tell us more. (How and why it works, how much to use etc.). I am always interested in learning of methods to help control the Small Hive Beetle...

Seems as though you have to reapply every week due to bees eating it.
