Title: News from the Arkansas State Honey Bee Inspector.
Post by: capt44 on September 26, 2013, 01:49:27 pm
I talked with the State Bee Inspector yesterday and told him I was treating with Formic Acid and would like to set up an inspection in early March of 2014
He told me he has seen a lot of hives failing this year due to non-treatment of the varroa mites.
Here is a picture of a hive the day after treatment of Formic Acid.

In March I usually have a large population of bees to start the season.
