Has anyone had any luck growing chestnut?
I recently found a grower in Florida and they make it sound like blight is no longer a problem.

Not much help as Im in Aus and blight isn't a issue but have a hundred or so trees.
Not a massive market for chestnuts in Aus and most customers now prefer the easy peel varieties so cattle get to eat most of ours.

Where in Florida? If in my area, I would like to check them out.

I planted 7 American chestnuts this last year. So far they have survived but they have not thrived. Maybe they will get some roots under them and take off...
