medium depth 3 frame mating nucs
« on: March 12, 2025, 03:57:11 pm »
Does anyone have a Coates style cut sheet for 3 frame medium depth nucs out of 1/2" plywood?  Or know where there is a generator that would create one?  I'm having issues with my four way and three way "queen castles" leaking bees between sections and losing the queens.  I'd like to build some during Work Week at my Bee Camp.

If I did the math correctly, you can get 6 3 frames medium nucs out of a 4 x 8 sheet of 1/2 plywood using the D. Coates design.  I hope that is what you were wanting.  Info is in the pictures.
