I am really glad to see our side take the offensive for once rather always being on the defense. Trump has given those people a whole lot of stuff to keep themselves busy for a while that they should be leaving us alone. Which is all we want.

it all depends on if he appoints an industry guy as head of ATF or not. Bondi is pushing for a LE hack.
You prob know who I'm hoping for

Actually, I don't, I don't know who hack is or what they stand for.

Terri. LE is law enforcement, hack is a person or habit.

And another definition of hack:

a professional who renounces or surrenders individual independence, integrity, belief, etc., in return for money or other reward in the performance of a task normally thought of as involving a strong personal commitment:

Some maybe good news. Bondi has been taking a LOT of heat behind the scenes from gun guys... plus the more obvious stuff going on in public.
The latest heat in public is over her directive on ATF to shift resources from Alcohol and Tobacco to "more pressing concerns" and reaffirming resources to Firearms.

However, the specific wording looks to only protect money to ATF's regulatory duties .. in other words, licences to dealers and transfers to individuals, etc. It says nothing about "enforcement" with regards to firearms. Taken as a whole, it may mean the focus of enforcement has been shifted to go after the gangs associated with illegal alien and drug trafficking.

I'm fine with enforcement of existing laws provided they're not out nitpicking like they did with some of the FFLs recently but I want to see some of them rescinded. I believe in machine guns for all.

pistol braces? enforcement of vague rules violations? many "laws" enforced by ATF were never passed by Congress, but "interpretations" through regulations written by the director of the agency.

Yeah, no need to push that garbage but let's imprison the prohibited who get caught with guns. So many of the violent criminals in Philthytown have multiple 'prohibited' charges in their rap sheets. Let's start by getting them off the streets.

agree, but ATF almost never pursues that. Most states have parallel laws to the federal ones and the cases are prosecuted through them.
