A Better Mousetrap
The15thMember:
It's always nice when the workbench in the garage is well organized. Everything in its own little compartment in the drawer: screws, bolts, washers, snake. . . . :cheesy:
My mom found this guy when she was looking for a nut to fix a broken chair this morning. She thought he was one of the kids' toy snakes initially. :cheesy: We've been seeing some rodent evidence in the garage lately, so he's probably here to try and help us out with that. We tripped the mousetraps so we don't accidentally catch him.

Thank you for letting him be. They are great to have around.

I love our snakes. some years we have so many that you have to be careful walking down the path so you don't step on them.

Yeah, I'm not scared of a snake like this even slightly, and neither is my mom. I'm just trying to work up the guts to pick one up. Rat snakes are super docile, and I've seen people do it, but it makes me nervous to try, even though I know their teeth are so small they can't even really bite. I've picked up little earth snakes before, but never a rat snake.
