Are Jack Rabbits good to eat?

<< < (2/2)

CLSranch:
I always liked cotton tail boiled before cooking it on whatever preferred method.  Maybe (MB?) jack rabbit could be the same.  I forgot that once and could not eat the tuff cotton tail. Threw it in some bbq sauce and boiled it, it was great pulled rabbit.

Ben Framed:
We always boiled squirrel for that reason CLS. Rabbits, (cottontails), we soaked in saltwater overnight..

Michael Bush:
I admit I've never done it, but it's got a name: Parboiled.  You boil it first and then cook it however you want.
