Of an inert chemical.  Powdered sugar isn't labeled for use on Varroa either.  I'm not recommending either...
   
I didn't realize you ..You treated Bees for Varroa..  With Powdered  sugar ..I Sure would  like to hear some your personal experiences with ..

That I've never done it.  But thousands of people do.  I watched it done once...

          Personally I have never treated bees With  powder sugar for anything........
