One of the kids will be off today. So I'll be at the house most of the day. Let me know when you can drop in and I'll see what I can do for you. I have most used equipment options.

Would you ship to Louisiana?
And could you email me some pictures of the stuff you have.

I don't think he can send any pictures because his cousin Acebird left his camera on top of a 5-gallon bucket sitting on the hood of his car during a hurricane while driving 60 mph and is still looking for it...the bucket, that is, not the hurricane, oh, and the camera, too.  BjorneBee himself has just been accepted to "Mrs. Manners" Finishing School (the family is thrilled!) so he will be packing up his Sunday best for the winter session there.  His other cousin, Finski, has the instruction book that they use to go by in tending the bees but which has to be translated by Finski...and sometimes things get lost in translation...kinda.  It's really an interesting family, though.

Have you thought of buying local?  Maybe contacting some local clubs to give you some leads on things.  Freight can get *really* expensive with heavy bee equipment.  Many times the bee equipment companies will come to major meetings, such as state association meetings, etc., and will deliver the equipment free of charge.  Send off for some free bee equipment catalogs (they love to send them out).

Best wishes,
Ed
(why do I do things like that?)  :-D

I don't know of anyone local.  I was hoping someone
in my area might reply but I haven't had any luck yet.

:)  Ok, give them some time and I imagine someone closer to you will respond.  It's kind of the slow season right now.  There are several beeks down in your area, some dog-gone pretty good ones matter of fact.  Sit tight, someone will come along, but in the mean time be proactive and start looking for yourself. ;)
