Yea maybe between the ears.

For all who were wondering what would happen when you take a couple of frames out meaning to replace them but forget to, here you go.

Wow looks like more than a couple. Time for cutout practice to really get initiated as a bee keeper.  :-D

Working on that now. The homeowner offered to cut the wall out and build me a vac if I'd provide him with a suit so I said ok. I'm putting some finishing touches on it now.

Robo's design by the way.

My rule is I never leave a frame out when I close up a hive, not even for a minute.  Because that minute could end up with me forgetting and... well, you saw the results...

I know you all have read about my hot hive. Well , when I get ready to fix it the first thing I will have to do is lift the top box up enough to get a knife in one side and slice a deep size comb off the top frame, then after I get the top box off fish it out and wire it into a frame  I am going to make that frame in advance with 1 inch mesh poultry wire and have one side fastened already. Just lay the frame on its side and lay the comb in and close the "cover", like a book. I don't know how many more frames was left out of that set up. I'll sting that bee when I get to it. ;) :) d2

wow...ya, you have a little work there, but should be easy enough to fix, hopefully. I tend to tell myself "it could be worse" a lot, to get me through the day.

I like the handhold on the hive body!
Not to change the topic.

Nothing like giving yourself more work!
Can somebody tell me where I can find a foundation tree?

It amazes me how its like pulling teeth to get them to draw on frames at times,  but leave them space and they build their own comb like mad men (women)!!!!!!
