FatherMichael. Post a picture if you have one.
I made my first hive stands 18" high, got the no stooping thing whipped. Then these hives were 3 and 4 deeps tall. Now I had to stand on a step ladder to remove the frames and then the boxes. All of my stands are no more than 12" now. I am fortunate to have two friends that like to work bees that are 6'3" and built like a NFL tight end. I am also blessed to have hives 3 and 4 high. I am going to get a fold up work stand that is adj. to 19 inches high.
FatherMichael.1. Thanks for the picture. Interesting and well made.2. If you want to go to a single broodbox, check the YouTube videos of Devan Rawn. He explains things very well, and is easy to follow.
