This is a blog with lots of pictures about my current (current as of this posting) trip to Iraq, where I am helping in the reconstruction of the country by teaching better beekeeping skills and techniques than what exist currently.  We all know the importance of bees in agriculture etc., and there is a lot of work to be done here in many regards, from basic hive building, management, proper training and techniques, battling pests- you name it, there is room for improvement here.   This blog details these efforts with, I hope, humor, insight, and above all, patriotism, and a love for bees.
