Hi fellow Aussie/kiwi beeks - anyone else keep their hives in a hut or shed? Or am I going to be laughed out of this forum?

I currently have a geodesic dome (using electrical conduit as interlocking frames) but with sever wind, it does not protect here is Vancouver. Currently planning a bee shed/shelter, as per attached mostly for winter rains. I have 2 TBH and one Warre. I did consider Slovenian hive and shed at one time. Good luck

I grew up in Switzerland and keeping bees inside a beehouse is very common.
I have visited Slovenia on a number of occasions and there beehouses are lovely.
For most of Australia with our mostly mild climate it would probably seen as over the top.
When I grew up in Switzerland ( a loong time ago) beekeeping was seen as a " gentleman's" hobby for the well off
