OK, I'll bite - what is bee lining?  In my imagination you line the little girls up and see what is going on.... but maybe it is following the "bee line" that the bees fly???? :?

Bee lining is when you want to find a hive. You see a bee foraging and mark it with something like powdered sugar so it is easier to see the bee as she flies back to the hive. There are many ways to do it so some of the other members will tell you how they do it.

I've been beelining off and on for a long time, but haven't spent that much time on it in particular.  My two biggest problems are seeing the bees well enough to get a line, and that the bees have no respect for property lines and you find yourself trespassing a lot if you're going to see it through.
