Setting up hives for oxalic acid treatment
« on: March 19, 2017, 02:27:03 pm »
I am in the midst of building a few long lang hives and I would like to set them up for easy treatment using vaporized oxalic acid. I have never done treatments before, so my only experience is watching a few youtube videos. I will most likely go the 12v route.

If you were building yourself a long hive, how would you set it up for treating with oxalic acid vapor?

Will you have a solid or screened bottom board?

I have standard Langstroth hives with screened bottom boards and place my vaporizer between the sticky board and the screen.  Could you do something similar?
