Title: Apiatherapy for migraines?!?!
Post by: KeyLargoBees on May 06, 2016, 07:44:31 pm
Inspected some hives this afternoon....but felt a migraine coming on decided to have a beer and sit outside and watch the girls and try to ground myself and fight The migraine off.... The ladies decided to "help" .... One of the larger hives started orientation flights so there were several thousand bees in a the air... One of them crash landed into my hair and got tangled and stung me in the scalp .... That's a first and I can say it didn't help my migraine 😢🐝🐝

Oh man. Do you have a large bulbous head now? lol

Speaking of bees and hair...my friend, when she was about 12, was at a friend's house at the lake. The uncle was a beekeeper and thought it'd be nice if the girls could eat some fresh comb honey. So he went into his hive and retrieved a frame of honey. Something happened, can't remember, and the bees came after them. My friend had long hair and she said many many bees got tangled up in there. She said she had to put her head on the ground with her hair flowing out behind her and the uncle had to stomp on her head and hair to kill the bees. Can you imagine?! Since hearing this story, I ALWAYS put my hair in a braid. lol

Hope your head's ok.
