Thanks Bobmac, those plans helped. I found out my buddy/neighbor had a table saw so i borrowed it, i need one now!!!!
Built 6 nuc boxs, and 4 bases and tops for swarm traps. This way i dont have to touch a hive body... just pick it up and put it on a real base board when bees are settled...

Pics wont upload because they are too big... but with the nucs i modified things a little, i left the bottom board longer to have a landing board in front of the opening, and i modified the top lid, i just have a straight ply wood lid, the two drop down pieces that would normally attach to the lid to hold it on, i nailed them to the box to double has handles to pic up the nuc boxs... lid stays on fine with just a rachet strap. Handles were more important to me... just need to paint it all now.

try resizing the photos in your editing . thats how i get mine down to size. or upload to photo share and link them.
