Hi from the uk
« on: January 20, 2006, 07:37:52 am »
hello all,

just a quick hello from a newbie from the uk, whilst we have the bbka forum its nice to see what others are up to and any tips and ideas that may be worth trying.

I have three hives, all commercials, but only one occupied at the moment, the second is ready for filling later in the year and then a spare once i get round to cleaning it.

Hi SSS:

Sometimes I get lucky and get to say hi first - so HI SSS :)

We have a great number of Beekeepers from the UK as you can read by clicking on the MEMBERLISTING at the top of every page - many who have spoken of local clubs and groups, all of which are welcome to congragate here.

My goal is to have an outlet for questions and answers, a place to relieve anziety when all goes wrong and a place to boast when good things happen in the beeyard. I think it important that we all have such a place to share our adventures and knowledge, and these forums are now 23 months old and I'd humbly state that they are very successful in what I attempted to do here :)

Anyway, welcome aboard and please post as often as you wish - we have forums for many discussions besides beekeeping, this allows us to better know each other beyond the bounds of the success and failures of the beeyard.

Thanks for writing and have a great 2006.
