Post by: buzzbee on January 10, 2009, 11:48:06 am
Hi folks,
We are having a snowy day here today so I will probably hanging around in voice chat a good part of the day and maybe this evening unless I get sucked in by the boob tube later. If any one new wants to stop by and needs help setting up,send me a PM and i will get back to you as soon as possible!

Glad to catch you today for a bit Ken, Tomorrow I hope to be on with a day off - yeeeehaaaa!!!

I need to figure out the schedule, but I want to have a CAM NIGHT where the audio is on - and I'll be tuned into Ventrilo and also either have the cam facing the big screen TV with Poker or Golf going. I'll post it ahead of time and hopefully we'll get some people watching the cam and seeing and hearing the stuff we do in Ventrilo - I can't think of a better way to show off how cool the interaction of chat is then to hear and see what we do there.

I'm just still so surprised that a service we offer allowing members to talk in near FM quality to each other around the world, which is free, simple to install and setup is still only used by a dozen or so DEDICATED and frequent users who know how great this feature is - to those who just plain won't try it, we'll never change their mind even though they should know by now you DON'T need to talk, you can type or just listen in.

To those with any interest, give it a try or when we have the VENTRILO VIDEO PREVIEW NIGHT, then I hope they stop by. Thinking about it though, we can video record ANY NIGHT and have a BEST OF VIDEO available for viewing.

Meanwhile a group of us have had THREE YEARS TOGETHER NOW and it is time I personally would never want to have missed. You all have become like family, I know you and you know me better than we ever could from posting in the forum only. Of course I don't need to tell you this, it has been a pleasure to have watched Josh grow up and get involved in CAP, he sure has his head screwed on straight, minus the momentary kid things that creep into all men's lives (for as long as we live) he might as we'll learn early on that we are mostly braindead zombies who love computer games and hanging with other guys talking the normal babble that men talk. Again, having met so many of you firt in the forum, then in chat and later in person - I really think we are lucky to live in such good times. I can't imagine what will come about in Josh's life, I hope someday, way down the road he thinks to himself, I sure wish Beemaster could have seen this...

:brian: describes many of us, or eventually will, I'm happy though that Brian has this one named after him - I think he's earned it.
