Title: Never seen or heard of this before.
Post by: capt44 on April 24, 2017, 11:01:00 am
Howdy,
I had a man bring me several swarm cells to put in my incubator to care for them for later use.
8 out of 12 emerged and are doing fine BUT!
After 12 days I decided to open the remaining cells to see if the Queens were dead.
There was one capped cell that was normal length but was slightly larger in diameter.
When I opened it there was a fully developed Queen but she was head first down in the cell.
Now comes the weird part!
She had white paint on her Thorax!
It was the Queen I marked for him last year.
I have never seen this happen before.
I'm going to try and put on a couple of pictures.

Capt,
I think you are in trouble with the bee gods.
You just opened Queen Tuts tomb.  :cheesy:
