I am getting ready to assemble about 100 frames and I want to buy a pnumatic nailer to make it as painless as possible. I already have the compressor and several other nail guns but I do not have anything for small work.
I am trying to decide between the following:
a 7/16" Crown. 18-Gauge Staples. 3/8"—5/8" Lengths. Senco
a Heavy-Duty 1-1/2" x 1/4" 18 Gauge Narrow Crown Stapler. Dewalt
a pin nailer, drives 1/2"—1" 23 gauge micro pins. Senco
a brad nailer, drives 18 gauge brads from 5/8" — 2". Senco
I was wonder if any of you have any experience using any of these and what works best.
Thanks for any opinions and suggestions based on your experiences.

I have a 1/4" narrow crown staple. I use 1" staples on the frames. I use 1 1/2" staples on boxes. I use 5/8" staples for putting the shims on my tops to make the entrances. I use 1 1/4" to put hand rails etc. on my long hives where I want to nail two 3/4" boards together and not have the staples stick out.
It works great.

I use a brad nailer, with 1" 18 gauge brads works great for me!
-
staples are much sturdier, but given how their jointed together a brad would work just fine.
-
I put mine together with a 16-ga finish nailer and 1.25" nails.
to attach the foundation I used 5/8" brads shot from an electric staple gun.

try tool crib of the north at amazon.com. I got a factory refurbished Porter Cable nailer from them. Works like it's brand new.
