Not sure what they were after but they wanted it
« on: February 29, 2024, 02:49:29 pm »
This morning I picked up a couple rams from a processor. I'd only had the rams cut into primal cuts and was processing them further on the driveway this morning. It's a sunny day with only very light breeze and felt warmer than the 45 it was. At any rate this girl was followed by several more. She found something on here she liked and brought her sisters.

I also noticed quite a few getting in the leaf mulch I have in the flower beds. Pretty sure they were after water, I'd dumped some in there a little while before

My bet is also that they were after the water/moisture on the meat.

Kinda what I was thinking too. The meat being sheep has a stronger odor than say beef or chicken, easy to key into it being there.
