Good evening, all! I'm a new member from Pickens Co, GA. I have been beekeeping for 15 yrs, but had to let go of my 60 colonies due to health issues. Well, I'm giving it a try this Spring, so we'll see if I'm able to keep up with my interests.
I currently have 8 colonies that are doing well. My plan is to double that number this year. We'll see how it goes.
I look forward to getting to know and learn from those on this site.
Clear skies, gentle breezes, and warm regards,
Andrew

Welcome to the forum Andrew. Exciting to see someone local! I'm in the south end of the county less than a 1/4 mile from the Cherokee line. Have been keeping bees for three weeks now :embarassed: Pestering the fine folks here much longer
Once this covid19 mess is over hope to see you at a meeting. Pickens has a very friendly club. Not joined yet, but Cherokee has a larger more active one.

Thanks, everyone. I appreciate the warm welcome.
William--I moved here from Austin, TX last year, but I haven't made it to a local bee club meeting yet. I plan to go to the next one, once they start meeting again. I hope to see you there.
