had 2 swarm calls today.
first one was 10 feet up a tree, didn't have a ladder with me 9 ( will ask a little more on the phone next time! :-X )
when i shook them into the box i got a little suprise!
the tree limb didn't bend like i thought it should so only half of the cluster of bees landed in the box, the other half landed down my back as i was standing on the side of the bed of my truck holding the box over my head. :-x
lesson learned, next time bring the ladder!
hived that one and the phone went off again, swarm 2 feet off the ground in a palm plant 10 miles down the road.
this one went easy and the photo below is of the second swarm.
even if i had photos of the first one you can bet they would never be posted  don't want to look like an idiot in a public forum!
the caller did get quite a good laugh when the bees went down my back!
