Welcome , for info contact your local bee club . Might get a mentor in your area.

Hello and Welcome!

This forum is a good place to start.  I use the 'search' function a alot: many times I find that my question has already been discussed, so I don't have to wait for anyone to answer. And.. don't overlook the tutorials on the main Beemaster page.

Between now and spring, READ, READ, READ.  Check you library for beekeeping books. Buy a few (there have been a number of threads which recommend "best" beekeeping books). Here's another website to spend time reading:

And, as suprstakr said, get involved with a local club. Clubs often offer beginning beekeeping classes and they are great places to find mentors and get connected with nearby beeks.

Johnny welcome to our forum, this will be the place where you can get so much information, ask questions about the honeybees, you will love to get into their world next year.  Have a most wonderful and awesome day, Cindi
