Caught a Swarm!

The first inspection shows they are doing very well!

Lots of honey from a great Mesquite flow and lots of brood, some already emerged.

That is good news. I don't have Mesquite in my area. How much longer do you expect your Mesquite flow to last?

This is an exceptional year with abundant rainfall.  The Mesquite are loaded with blooms.  They last six to eight weeks.

Of the new comb built half is capped honey in the brood chamber.

It has been a long, cool spring with a lot of wildflowers, too.
