Title: Queens from Queensland Australia.
Post by: M3RLIN on August 19, 2017, 01:42:20 am
Hi guys, I'm gonna have maybe an excess of 35-40 queens this year (September onwards) , because of a change of plans. Anyway because I live in North Queensland I can basically make them most of year round, excluding the May-August months. I basically don't even know if people want virgin or mated queens ? I just basically never thought about it until this year. They will be all Italian. I do usually get a few tiger queens as well, with a bit of carnolian throwback, I have found they are about equal in production to the golden yellows. I use a Nicot kit. The ones bred in December I have found to be the ULTIMATE! However that's the start of full steamy hot rain season here, so not sure how they acclimatise elsewhere etc.
Anyways just putting it out there for anyone to read.

Peace.

Also forgot to mention they are from the Atherton Tablelands, Mareeba and inland.
