Hey all. I'm back. Sorry for the absence. Had a few cardiac issues last summer. But is fixed and I'm back to irritate the northern beeks. ;).

do I hear a little wager?

i wish i could challenge him. we just don't have the bees around here that they have down in cajun country. i hived one swarm last year and it just happened to be settling in a tree on the side of the road and i noticed as i was driving by.
the most i ever hived in one year was probably around a dozen and that was around 99 or 00. those were all calls, i've never used swarm traps but i might this year.
-
It's been since the early 90's that I last heard of a swarm around here. I know it happens, just haven't seen or heard of any.
-
caught 12 swarms last year... only 1 was mine. :^)
