I am just starting out. I had bees for 40 hours before they absconded, but that was in a topbar hive received from another member. Now I've built some 8 frame medium Langstroth boxes will be doing top entrances and the following stand

It has two slots with the top one going to be either the slats or the screen and removable to clean if necessary and the bottom one will be an aluminum tray style trap if I need it for pests or just open. I also plan to have removable backs that will either close up the bottom completely combined with a solid board in the bottom slot if need be or leave it partially open for ventilation.

I am in southwest florida and do not use any chemicals when it comes to the food I grow and consume (which will include the honey).

Hope they enjoy cedar as much as I do. :)
Thanks

I am using tapatalk and it has a + button that lets me take a pic or choose from my camera roll. It appears to host on tapatalk dot com and just uses the IMG tag to display it inline. Same as you would for flickr or photobucket hosted files.

I hope you'll put another stack of blocks under that. It will blow over too easily... actually I'd get rid of ALL the blocks and build a stand out of treated 2x4s...

That was for picture taking only, in the driveway.
