Title: Rain Rain Rain
Post by: HAB on March 31, 2009, 06:36:06 pm
After last weeks flooding across Mobile and S. Alabama here it is again.  Poor Bees won't get a break for the next three days.  My darn has already gotten a small one though.  There goes another $10,000 to get it repaired. And the road we live on has only been repaired three days from its being washed out last week. That will all be to do over.  No way has it had time settle.
Things were looking so good in the hives yesterday.  Hope they fair as well through this bad weather as they did the last. We only lost a top off of an empty Nuc we had set up as a swarm trap then.

You guys in the mid-west are getting the kind of spring we had last year, ain't it great?  This years a little better buy not by much.  Next year its the east=coast's time for the yukky winter while the west-coast might have a halfway decent spring.  Stay tuned will know in another 11 1/2 months.
