I enjoyed his acting.
In real life he seemed like a good guy. Was not aware of any scandals.

got his autograph in 83, he didnt blow you off like other stars I have met, was happy to talk and seemed genuinely nice. I grew up watching Star Trek, and though I didnt really consider myself a trekkie, it still hurts.
