I posted this animation in the web videos forum, it is kind of an alternative spin of Revolution a few seasons down the road
http://video.stumbleupon.com/#p=gc8p200l3xI just can't get past some things, like why no steam powered anything, locomotives would be nice. Using the idea that "EVERYTHING was destroyed in the early days of the Revolution" is a bit of a cop out.
Still, there being no bikes bothers me - imagine having to walk everywhere cause of a horse shortage, lol. Seems to me horse breeding would be a thriving business in a world without mechanical power.
So, episode 4, Revolution continues to move back and forth in time, and giving us eye-opening and shocking insight to the characters.
The truth is, in Revolution, there aren't really any super bad guys, only people with good intent gone eyry. Good people often have to do bad things, the difference in these characters is whether they enjoy being bad, are a product of the evolution of the Revolution or unknown to us are doing the necessary evil to make a real future for upcoming generations.
As noted, there is more than a casual similarity to the Stand: few people - even in the cities, a drawn line between good and evil (although still fuzzy in Revolution) and in hindsight few cars running in the Stand although it took place within months of Captain Trips, surely a gas tanker truck was a great find and could have made a man wealthy in the Stand, although useless in Revolution - it all goes back to the horse breeder.
If I could add one thing to keep Revolution returning for a second season is Zombies :-D but that's me. If not Zombies, then Aliens, sort of a Falling Skies, meets Revolution, meets Walking Dead kinda script. Now "that" would be a show I'd watch!!!
