Title: Any South Florida fruit farmers here?
Post by: OPJohn on January 12, 2016, 12:47:23 pm
Hey guys. I'm at the helm of a meadery and i'm looking to source some exotic fruits for a few specialty batches of mead. Specifically, i'd like to find somebody growing sugar apple and mulberries. I've been able to source some really great citrus, mango, peaches, strawberries, blueberries and other fantastic Florida seasonal fruits. Mulberry has such a deep rich flavor that it makes for some amazing semi-dry wine and sugar apples have such a delicate sweet pear flavor with a tang.

If you grow mulberries or sugar apples and would like to sell some of your spring crop to a young meadery just getting off the ground, please let me know!
