Greetings folks! Great news here. We had a meeting at the county extension office in Clanton, Alabama to determine if enough folks were interested in trying to start a beekeeping organization in Chilton county.
The first night was testing the waters per say. We had 28 people to show up!! Man that's great. The experienced ranged from no bees never to folks who kept them in the fifties. The next meeting and every meeting afterwards will be the first Thursday of each month from 6 to 7 pm. PM me if you're interested.
