Title: Early Queen Rearing. Van, Alan this is for you!
Post by: Ben Framed on January 10, 2020, 07:31:36 am
Richard is located in Brittany, France.  He does not let borders slow him down with his hands on beekeeping training and quest for knowledge. Like Alan and Van, Richard seeks VHS qualities among other qualities in his queens. Myself, as well as others who have been watching closely to Richards experiences, have been learning. Richards enthusiasm for beekeeping knowledge is exceptional. He will go wherever, seek whomever in order to expand his beekeeping vocabulary. He has shared videos of spending time with Michael Palmer in Vermont. Bringing in expert AI, II experts to Brittany etc. Through all this, he always seems to make time to share his accumulated knowledge and take the time to answer questions, which in my view is commendable. I do not remember him ever,  not answering a question that I have ask him. The following video reminded me of you, Coolbees (Alan),  and your experiencing early queen cells at your home in California, (before the Winter Solstice).
Best Regards,
Phillip

Pretty cool Phillip. ... Hawaii sounds nice right about now! ...

Someday I might have to dig into raising queens in a more production style ... someday maybe.

Cool video.  Could not resist Alan.  Oh man, Ben Framed, Ya got my heart pounding with that video.  I live in part, for queen rearing.  The Father gave me life and 3 crystal clear purposes.  Queen rearing is my 3rd purpose.

I just adore videos of queen rearing. I adore watching my own queens from a tiny grafted larva to a 4 years old super star beauty named Alpha.

Thanks for the video, Phil.  Might please you to know, this year, I plan to give away an II cordovan queen to a young promising beekeeper in Searcy, Arkansas.
