Made your corn dogs yourself? Or frozen? I believe you messed up there with that ketchup. Just mustard for me please.
I'd call them homemade, but not from scratch.  My mom made the breading batter herself, but a box mix is an ingredient, and she bought the hot dogs of course, but she breaded and fried the corn dogs herself.

Double Decker Smash Burgers with egg, onions, cheddar, American, and secret sauce. Potato salad and coconut shrimp for the side.

Hm, egg on a burger?  I don't know about that one. . . .

I come from under the hill, and under the hills and over the hills my paths led.  And through the air, I am she that walks unseen.

Try it. It will change your life. A good runny egg gushing out all over the place. Mmmm

Ever do a sausage link dipped in pancake batter dipped in syrup?
Yummy

Wine berries from the back yard, and black berries from the dirt road.
Off to the oven now.

I've done it with breakfast sandwiches, but I just don't know about it with a burger.  Mom thinks it sounds good though, so maybe we'll give it a try next time we have burgers.

No, but that is a great idea!

Your girls did a great job!  I bet those will taste so good!  Our blackberries aren't quite there yet, but the black raspberries are.  I was picking around at them in the garden the other day.  Blueberries are getting close too.  We have a pick your own blueberry farm basically right next door to us, so we'll be getting our fill of those pretty soon.

Mom was late getting home from running around today, so she had to scrap our original dinner plans.  We're having Pillsbury dough pizza instead, and she doesn't want me to post a picture of it because it's not her best work.  :cheesy:

I like the egg runny. The burgers I?ve overcooked the eggs on just don?t have the same effect.

No shame in a home made pizza out of a can. That?s one the girls like doing too.

Cobbler is cooling and wings are going in the oven.

It's true, and it's much better than frozen in basically the same amount of time.  I think we're doing leftovers tonight since it's Sunday and Mom doesn't want to cook.

I, for one, certainly do.

Creamy shell soup and Impossible Chicken and Broccoli Pie.

Looks real good. Gonna need some more details on an impossible chicken and broccoli pie. That?s a new one on me.
What makes it impossible?

Looks like they did ok.

More than OK!
Ask them if they'd be willing to share the recipe.

My granddaughters are coming to visit and they like to make pie, but they might like to try something else too.  Our berries are coming.  Blueberries are just about there.

Let me see what I can do to find it. I do remember two of the steps.
1) eat more berries than go in the basket.
2) once you coat the berries in sugar, eat more berries than go in the pie.

This is the one I pulled for that pie. It was very good. I didn?t read the article. I just scrolled down and got to the ingredients. Probably did a few things wrong. Made a slurry out of white sugar and buttermilk and painted it on the top and added a little cinnamon.

My mom uses Sally all the time.  Her recipes are detailed, well tested, foolproof, and of course delicious.

Yeah, caffeine doesn't affect me much, but it's not sweet tea, it's lemon tea.  I can't stand sweet tea.

It's impossibly good!  :cheesy:  It's a hot savory pie of cooked chicken and broccoli in an egg binder and topped with cheese.  I've never been much for it historically, but it's growing on me lately.

Thanks.  I'll let you know how they do.  They are 6 and 3 so I am sure they will eat more than they bake also  :cheesy:

Eh, not really. It is not that much egg and it?s not only egg, there are other ingredients in the binder too, although I am not sure exactly what at the moment. I can ask my mom about it more tomorrow. She is in bed already.
