Hi Everyone
Just to introduce myself, I live in the Murcia region of  Spain, I have just ordered my first Langstroth hive plus hopefully most of the essential gear.
I have been reading up everything I can find ( including Langstroths book - 1853)
There are so many opinions and ways of doing things, hopefully I will be able to get some good info and great ideas from you all.

Welcome to the forum, Johnnie.  I know what you mean, there are lots of ways of being a beek.  After you have read, heard and seen lots of ways it is kind of up to you to decide which one you would rather try.  Or which parts of this way and that way you would like to try to beek.  There are good points for most of the ways.  Ask questions and decide which.  You can always change the way you do things as you see what is or isn't working for you and your bees.      Just my opinion.   Good luck to you and your bees.
