Greetings from the Arkansas Ozarks
« on: September 12, 2011, 12:18:31 pm »
Glad to join the forum. I'm a new beek as of Spring 2011 with two backyard hives. Love everything about bees and have been trying to learn all I can. We had a horrible summer drought/heat wave this year so my new hives (one started as a nuc and one as a small caught swarm) haven't built up as much comb as I'd hoped they would....but after this summer's weather, I'm happy they are alive at all. Looking forward to learning from all of you.

Welcome to the forum.
Have you found a local bee club. They can also help you alot. Be sure to fill in your location because in the future, when you ask a question, your location makes a big difference on the answers you will get. Your time schedules are totally different from my area.
