Here is a picture of Judy?s summer garden well under way. Tomatoes, pumpkins, peppers, cucumbers, yellow squash, radishes, basil and egg plant all have fruit growing.

Nice looking garden

Thanks JT. I?ll tell her you said that. 🙂

Ha, she is like me, she doesn't like weeds.
We lost our paradise down here. It is now hot and humid. They tell me the rainy season. Back north we would call it corn season but Judy tells me corn is hard to grow down here, maybe the soil.

Looking good. What does she use for soil amendments?

Nice garden!!!

Jim, how is Judy's garden coming along?
-
It is all done now. She picked almost 600 pounds of vegetables out of it just during the summer season. She was happy with that.

Jim,
Tell me about that electric fence you have around your garden, is it solar?

Wow. I just walked down the weeds in my garden. I hear you are supposed to pull them, but... :cheesy:
Tell her it looks beautiful and I now feel guilty!

J
JV,
The solar powered electric fence comes with a 12 volt battery inside. You just hang it on a fence post, it is designed to go on top of a T post or hang on 2 screws on a 4x4 post or wall, and hook up the wires. One side is the fence and the other is connected to a ground rod or a good ground connection. It has a switch on the under side to turn it on or off. I think this one is 2 years old or older.
